The weight in this table is measured with the lightest riser: RZ3. The R14 riser is heavier.
The MAESTRO 3 light is available in unbelievable 8 sizes to match every pilot perfectly!
PHI do the 2 biggest sizes only in the light version to limit packing volume and weight.
Unlike the MAESTRO 2 light (150mm), the 3rd generation offers a full 180mm of speed travel for the smaller sizes 17 and 18!
Colours
Standard colours: CC01 (Petrol-Orange), CC02 (Orange-Petrol), CC03 (Lilak-Petrol) and CC04 (White-Lilak).
Note: The MAESTRO 3 and MAESTRO 3 light use different materials and blues: Deep Blue (darker) for the M3, Petrol (lighter) for the M3L.

MAESTRO 3 Light: THE NEXT STEP!
The MAESTRO 3 light stands in a line of legendary superlight high B wings. With those wings, the high B has be invented once and was constantly defined over many years.
Here is the next step: better, more relaxed, more balanced, safer, easier to fly and more performant than all it’s predecessors. -and in the light version it is superlight with a super small packing volume.
Designer’s notes
Even during a long and successful career as a designer, it is not often that you are sure that your latest new creation will be an incredible success.
With the MAESTRO 3 light there is no doubt. Since a long time I wanted to do a mainstream product from the magnificant Dominiko D10 cloth.-Forget the usual clichés: new benchmark, better than ever, more performance, more safety, better handling, etc.!

Features
The MAESTRO 3 light has a touch more aspect ratio, a different profile, different rods (Nitinol with padding), a slightly different rigging, different straps, canopy tension, mini ribs etc. It performs better, flies a little nicer, is even more stable and has much better, smoother handling.
Overall it feels much more relaxed and is safer than the MAESTRO 2 light. Pilots flying the MAESTRO 3 lights report the 3rd generation being more stable, easier, better climbing, better handling and better performance and faster in max speed.
To reach an wider target group, the MAESTRO 3 light has normal length riser and more covered lines. Except stabilo all lines down to the carabiners are covered!
The light version of the MAESTRO 3 is built from Dominiko D10: the technological most advanced superlight cloth on the market. The super fine D10 fibre is woven to a very tight structure. So it sets the benchmark in durability as well.
Nose padding
The new Neoprene padding on the leading edge distributes the pressure of the Nitinol rods over a larger area and makes the wing nose significantly more robust against abrasion.
Nitinol in general is offering very easy packing and low stress by being very form stable.
Because of the superb form stability of Nitinol and the optimised 3 section 3D shaping, the lift section of the MAESTRO 3 airfoil is super smooth.

Phi note: Same as the normal version, the light version has NITINOL rods and NEOPRENE paddings in the nose, to protect the cloth in that critical area. PHI wanted to offer an “all day robustness” rather than being super light on the cost of durability. Even the high technical effort, the MAESTRO 3 light is still light. -and because of the smooth and silky D10 cloth and the NITHINOL rods, super small to pack.
Risers
Standard: R14 (3+1), RZ3 (3)
The MAESTRO 3 light has the R14 riser as the standard riser. It is offering “floating B” with C handle steering. In contrast to the R07, it has the standard length of 540mm. You can mount a hard Carbon handle or grab the soft Neoprene handle: as you like.
Optional: ‘”Semlight C Handle” R07, ‘Semilight’ R04 (3+1) , ‘Superlight +’ R03 (3 +1)
You are free to customize and choose another riser free of charge but this will delay your order by 3-7 days. If saving every gram is your top priority, you may choose the “Superlight” RZ3 riser. This reduces the weight on the tech data list by around 250-285g but compromises usability and increases speed system pressure.
