The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 features a preformed under-seat airbag for enhanced passive safety during takeoff. The reserve parachute pocket is strategically placed beneath the seat, designed for easy installation while minimising the risk of accidental opening.
With its hybrid seat design, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 blends the comfort of a seatboard harness with the safety of a split leg harness. It features two Cobra automatic buckles on the chest strap, ensuring a quicker, safer setup.
The backpack is crafted for a comfortable, highly accessorised carry, letting you forget the weight of your gear during hikes. The shoulder straps provide ample storage for accessories or hydration on the go. Its roll-top closure lets you adjust the bag’s volume for compact, efficient packing. Plus, the backpack is fully removable, allowing it to be detached from the harness when needed.

The backrest is made with multiple panels to contour to your body, eliminating pressure points and increasing comfort. This also reduces weight without sacrificing comfort. A lumbar adjustment ensures a precise fit along your back’s natural curves, improving on the original ALTIRANDO LITE.
A zippered pocket on the left side keeps your essentials handy, while the drinks system tube outlet is on the left shoulder. The right shoulder strap offers a convenient spot for attaching your vario.
Overall, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 boasts a superior weight-to-comfort ratio, providing a lighter harness without compromising on flight comfort.
- SAFETY TO FLY WITH A LIGHT MIND
The waist strap closure features two Cobra buckles, ensuring quick and secure fastening of the chest and leg straps. The harness includes pre-formed airbag protection under the seat for added safety from take-off.
Like the original, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 comes with an integrated under-seat reserve container. Easily install your reserve parachute using the nylon wire in the reserve bridle channel. The reserve system is designed for hassle-free setup, and the reserve container is securely closed with zippers and cables to prevent accidental opening.

- A BAG MADE FOR HIKING…
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is a reversible harness that aims to be as comfortable on flight as it is on foot.
To do so, the accessorization of the bag has been improved to offer you many storage spaces.
On each shoulder strap is a pocket equipped with a leash that allows you to store various accessories while securing them. You can, for example, install a Flask or a water bottle to always have water at hand.
Two pockets are also available on the side of the bag, one is zipped to store your stuff and the second is open to potentially hold a pair of poles or any other item you want to keep easily accessible.
The belt is also equipped with a closed pocket on the right side.
- … THAT FITS TO YOU…
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 bag comes in two sizes depending on the size chosen for the harness. The bag that comes with the S and M sizes will have a volume of 70 L while the bag for the L and XL sizes will be 90 L.
However, the difference is not limited to the capacity of the bags as the backrest is also sized differently to fit your body size.
You can adjust the length of the straps, the load reminders, the strap chest and the belt.
Also note that the belt is removable and can be removed if your bag is lightly loaded and you want to transfer the weight of the bag higher on your back, like a trail bag.
- … AND YOUR EQUIPMENT!
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 bag is now closed with a roll-top.
In addition to being easy to handle, it allows your bag to adapt to the volume of the equipment you are taking along.
Indeed, you can carry a school wing as well as a small mountain glider while keeping compact equipment for more comfortable carrying.
In addition to the roll-top, the bag opens with two zippers that allow a convenient opening of the bag to easily store your equipment.
Altirando LITE 2: more than just a harness
The bag of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is removable and can be disconnected from the harness.
This allows you to benefit from a lighter harness when you do not practice hike & fly. This slight weight gain can allow you to gain mobility for inflating sessions or school slopes, for example.
The two elements are designed to work together but can be used separately: the harness can be flown without the bag and the bag can be used independently of the harness.
The connection between the harness and the bag is very simple using two zips.
