Even more protection and comfort
Once more, safety was given top priority. The SUCCESS 5 has an additional SAS-TEC element along the entire back. The protector has been completely redeveloped and provides a significantly higher energy absorption factor – for 20% reduced packing volume. As a new option a hook knife can be contained in a shoulder strap. The additional foam protector for lumbar and thoracic vertebrae is also built into this 5th generation SUCCESS.
Naturally, well-proven features have been retained. These include an ergonomically designed backrest, with 3D seat shell for maximum comfort, and the Balance Strap System for easy entry and exit. A sporty, sleek design ensures a clean silhouette and the best possible aerodynamics.
Features
Perfect support
The ergonomic 3D seatshell provides the SUCCESS 5 with the highest degree of comfort. In addition, protector, foam supports, comfort foam and SAS-TEC elements are so arranged that the entire length of the pilot’s back is perfectly supported.
Balance-strap-system
The Balance-Strap-System sliding support principle makes it easy for the pilot to slide back into the harness after takeoff, and helps him stand up again in the harness before landing. This traditional balance arrangement responds to the changes in pilot centre of gravity position encouraged by pulling in the legs after takeoff, and extending them before landing.
Even more protection
An additional SAS-TEC element protects the entire back region of the SUCCESS 5 and complements the comfort foam. A foam protector, two additional foam sections and the lateral SAS-TEC elements protect the lumbar spine and also the thoracic vertebrae and pelvis.
Ready to hand in an emergency
The SUCCESS 5 is now provided with a high quality Hook Knife, stowed in a shoulder strap, is easy to see and secured by a line.
